How much do high speed doors cost?

To answer this question, we really need to break it down into two areas:

1) The cost of supplying and installing your high speed door, getting it up and running
2) Ongoing maintenance and upkeep cost

I will cover point two in another post, so let’s just focus on the cost of supplying and installing a new high speed door!

Supply and Install of a Rapid Door
Let’s get it clear, there are hundreds - literally hundreds - of different high speed door styles, types, shapes, sizes, colours...the list goes on. You can get ones suited for hygiene or temperature control, dock loading systems, oversize applications, but to make this easier to understand let’s stick with just normal fabric high speed doors, like the Ulti-Roll or the FasTrax. Note that when we say supply and install we are talking the cost of Ulti Group supplying the custom-made doorway, and then coming on site and installing and commissioning it, ready for you to use.

For an entry-level rapid door like our Ulti-Roll, which you may deem as a ‘cheaper’ option, you are looking at between $11,000 and $20,000 for supply and install. I know what you are thinking, that’s a pretty big price range, but there are so many factors that influence the cost of the high speed door so it makes it hard to give a generic figure for all applications.

And for or more of a sophisticated doorway, with added durability, full knock-out and self-repair, enhanced speed and safety systems, and less chance of breakdowns, the range is between $15,000 and $25,000, for a product similar to our FasTrax Door, which is really your ultimate high speed door.
