Definition: 'Mondayitis' is a feeling of weariness, sadness, apathy and general distress that many individuals feel when starting the Monday morning work week.
What can you do to make Mondays manageable, or even positively enjoyable?

Breakfast is, as they say, the most important meal of the day. Make your Monday breakfast better than any other day.
2. Wear something fabulous
You'll feel better if you're looking great.
3. Arrange to meet a friend for lunch
Monday will always be more fun if there's something to look forward to.
4. Random acts of kindness
You're undoubtedly not the only one feeling the effects of Mondayitis, surprise someone with a compliment, a gift or a thoughtful gesture.
5. Listen to your favourite music
Play something motivational and uplifting.
6. Buy yourself flowers
Having flowers on your desk makes the world a prettier place.
7. Exercise before work
Give your body a shot of endorphins with a burst of activity before work.
8. Think of five things to be grateful for
Instead of feeling sorry for yourself, think of five reasons to be glad.
9. Find a 'thought for the day'
Go to an inspirational quote website and find a thought for the day that means something to you.
